A Word About What we Can and Can’t Do …

If it were up to us, we would help fix every UI problem for everyone (there are plenty of those these days). However, there are only certain things that are within our power to try and do anything about. We generally get involved only after someone’s claim has been denied in writing or they have an appeal scheduled--we represent people through the appeal process. If you are having a problem prior to that point, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do.

When problems relate to unanswered questions or confusion about procedures, or frustrations with not being able to get through to talk with anyone with the program, we completely empathize, but we can't do anything about those types of issues. We don't have access to program data, so we can't pull-up anyone's account to see what's going on or try and fix anything. Only someone with the program can do that. We know they are very hard to get a hold of but they are the only ones that can potentially offer assistance with these types of issues.
